![]() ![]() ![]() (btw my dislike of the proprietary rechargeables is obtaining and pricing of replacement batteries when needed). Wma files ARE supported, (and mp1, mp2, mp3, wmv, wav), it seems DRM is not.Īnyone got one of the 4Gb LP-HD01 ones? Rechargeable battery again, but claimed battery life seems OK. (-btw the iRiver was over £200 when bought). And far better than the sports model which was sold for £50. ![]() I haven't messed with equaliwser settings yet. Treble, higher frequency bell/pipe sounds used in a few of Hearts tracks are clear- as good as the iRiver. Sound is far better defined than the sports one was, but bass is not as deep/defined as the iRiver. This one (FD160) has a built in rechargeable battery (I'd have preferred AA/AAA batteries but how long would I have to wait.). Quick reveiw- the first one had muddy sound- no where near as defined as my rather old iRiver. Annoying because they must have known why it was returned but were quite willing to try and get a customer to accept it.Īnyhow I have just got another replacement- a totally different player (Tevion FD160) It's lasted 10% of the time of the first one already! I learned something from that- check items fully and carefully before leaving- yes, it was faulty- obviously a return as it had a music collection on it- the plug from included earpiece wouldn't fit. I spoke to the store manager who was very helpful- I ended up at a store 10 miles away to get a replacement. I'm still waiting for a reply from Aldi after several months. Summary of Contents for Tevion Music/Audio Converter : User Manual User Manual After Sales Support Having purchased a TEVION Music/Audio Converter you can rest assured in the knowledge that in addition to your 3 year parts and labour warranty you have the added peace of mind of dedicated help lines and web support: Helpline No.: UK/N. ( ) from Aldi- lasted all of about 1 week (wouldn't play/access tracks but could see/move tracks when connected to the PC). After its done it'll say how many tracks to your player. Then you rip them into your library, right click the track you want, a menu comes, click add to, click Sync list, in the right of the screen theres a list 'now playing' click all the tracks you want to the sync list and then click start sync, these are being sent to your player. You go into media player, you go into Guide, on the top tool bar, its a download site. My lovely younger son then found out how to do it.Ĭonnect your mp3 player. The difference was he used tracks from the real player and we used tracks from media player.Duh. He put it in his pc and loaded some on and it played. Still no joy, so I took it to work for my IT guy to show me what to do. Decided perhaps it was a cheap player so we upgraded to a ministry of sound 256mb hopeing against hope. Could see all the tracks listed, saw them playing but couldn't hear them, took it back and brought home another and it was just the same. We bought from Tesco Inovix 256mb mp3 player. Any help would be much appreciated, as I nearly threw it out of the window today it just wont work.We had a couple of problems with these a few weeks ago and after returning 2 players we then found out how to put the tracks on. Does anyone have an idea what this is? I cannot find a list of errors and the handbook is no use. ![]() It does see the card and when I put it in says mem-card but then I get error 12 and it goes back to tuner. I have tried putting the MP3s in a folder and tried different naming styles and it still wont work. I have tried differen sizes from 32mb to 2gb and none work. Also the SD reader is a nightmare I cannot get it to work whatever I do, I have tried the SD card as many formats (FAT, FAT 32 and even NTFS) using HP format tool (much better than XPs own), and it will not read the card. Does anyone know what connector is required so I can connect my USB please. I do not think it is USB A, B, A Mini, A MiniB. I did get the USB working, however someone stole my MP3 player with the connector and I cannot find out which one is needed to replace it. The radio and CD have worked fine as has the MP3 CD player, however I have always had problems with the USB and SD cards. I bought tevion MP3/SD/USB/CD player about a year and a half ago (a year last christmas). Hi this is my first thread and any help would be most appreciated. ![]()
